Captain Adam Burch is the owner of Game On Fishing Charters and will effortlessly help you fill up your coolers with fresh fillets. Capt. Adam is a 6th generation Floridian and has qualifications that would blow you away. He was a Naval Officer for 23 years, a Divemaster in Egypt, a Commercial Fisherman in Guam, and an avid spearfisherman in the Florida Keys. His passion for fishing has led him to run the top charter service in St. Augustine! Capt. Adam also works with other local Captains in the area to operate his vessel, but he’s vetted them carefully. Captain Adam and his other crew members are all seasoned vets, and are great with young families, kids, hard core anglers, and everything in between!

Game On Fishing Charters runs a pristine 24ft Tidewater Center Console, powered by a 250hp Honda engine. Her walk around design allows Captain Adam to comfortably fish up to 6 anglers. On board you’ll find a variety of fishing equipment that greatly enhances your catch rate on the day, these include: Outriggers, Fishfinder, GPS, Livewell, and plenty of rod holders.

You’ll have the option to choose from a variety of trip lengths. Game On Fishing Charters offers 4hr trips for both the morning and afternoons. These are great trips to get a taste of St. Augustine’s unique fishery, and they’re always a good time. To really get the most out of your stay in St. Augustine, Captain Adam recommends his full day offshore excursions. This will allow you time to venture further off the coast to the more abundant fishing grounds which experience the least amount of fishing pressure. On these trips, you can expect to catch the following species: Wahoo, Sailfish, Amberjack, King Mackerel, Red Snapper, Sharks, and more!

We did an afternoon trip with our 4 and 6 year old boys. They had never been on the ocean before. We did some near-shore fishing by following a shrimp boat. The kids loved it! We immediately caught two 4-5 ft sharks. We then went back into the bay to view dolphins swimming. The entire trip was fantastic, Capt Adam was friendly and helpful, and made sure our experience was what we wanted. We highly recommend this trip!

Unfortunately we didn’t catch anything today but it was not due to our Captain, Zach. He put us right on top of fish all day. There was a weather system moving in and could not go out offshore due to safety, and I greatly applaud our capt for keeping us safe while out. With that said we fished in the bay and had us on top of fish all day. Never the less my family had a great time out and will definitely do it again. Captain Zach,. We enjoyed our time out today and can’t wait to do it again. Thank you again sir.

Captain Zach was great. There were 3 generations aboard and he was very concerned with all our needs. He let my grandkids drive the boat and was very helpful in guiding them on how to use the fishing equipment. We caught some beautiful fish and with Zach’s cooking instructions we had a great meal which we all enjoyed.
