Captain Vasiliy Obukhov will be manning the helm on your outdoor fishing trip. Capt. Vasiliy has over 15 years of experience fishing the waters of Sarasota and the surrounding area. He loves fishing and sharing his passion for fishing with others. He will pass onto you his vast knowledge of the different species of the area and different fishing techniques he uses to catch them.

When you set sail with Capt. Vasiliy, you can expect to cover the fishing grounds of Sarasota, Siesta Key, Bradenton, Holmes Beach, Anna Maria, Longboat Key, Vamo, and many other exciting locations along the central west coast of Florida in the Gulf of Mexico.

Your Sarasota fishing charter experience will begin the moment you step foot onto Capt. Vasiliy’s 24ft Sailfish center console boat that is rigged for deep sea fishing in Florida. She is powered by a 300hp Yamaha engine that can take her to a cruising speed of 51 knots. You will find all the proper safety and navigational equipment on deck, as well as the latest fish-finding technologies. There is also a multimedia system on board for you to plug your phone into so you may enjoy your favorite music while out on the water.

We offer offshore fishing trips ranging from 4 to 10 hours in length. Everything you need to land a big game catch will be provided to you. Fishing techniques we use include deep sea fishing, bottom fishing, drift fishing, jigging, spinning, trolling, and spearfishing.

Your fishing style will depend on the targeted species. We will give you the options to target the exciting species that swim around Sarasota including Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Amberjack, Sailfish, Sharks, Kingfish, Snapper, and various types of Grouper.

If you're planning your picnic on the water, bringing the kids along but are a bit worried about them not really getting into fishing, this trip is your salvation. Bring your drinks and food and have a fun. Hop on board the comfortable 24' boat, outfitted with a picnic table, grill and plush cushions. Fishing will be light with all the required equipment provided. This trip is perfect for families and private parties. A lot easier and less expensive than boat rental.

Great experience
My son and I had a great trip. With the Captain knowing where the spots were to catch some nice size fish to his son taking some great photos, we had a better than expected experience. I oils highly recommend Neptune Charters for a great day of fishing

Great fishing trip
My girlfriend and I had a great fishing trip with Capt. Vasiliy. He was very friendly and well prepared for our trip. He’s also very knowledgeable of the waters and took us to a couple locations where the fish would not stop biting. Capt. Vasiliy made sure that we always had ample bait and would help dehook and store the fish so we can quickly resume fishing. Being that we were more familiar with lake fishing and not so much sea fishing, he even gave good tips on how to hook the fish and reel them in. Overall, it was a great experience and we will certainly be fishing with Capt Vasiliy next time we’re in town.

Successful Trip
Successful fishing trip this morning. Captain Vasiliy and son Alex made my 15 year old grandson’s day memorable! He caught a nice sized King and tuna among others.
