Quiet Waters Fishing is a specialized guide service located in Sarasota, Florida. If your interest or passion involves the finer things like fly fishing or using traditional tackle with artificial baits to target fish, then this may be the experience you are seeking.
Captain Brian is focused on serving his anglers needs and putting them in position for a successful saltwater experience. He guides his anglers around the waters of Sarasota, Bradenton, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Charlotte Harbor, and many other locations on Florida’s west coast. Captain Brian has been a successful tournament angler throughout his life.
Your fishing charter journey begins once you step aboard our 17ft Maverick Mirage. This boat was designed to access extremely shallow flats. The Mirage makes an excellent casting platform for fly fishing or spinning tackle. As often as possible, Captain Brian will be using his push pole to move the skiff across the shallow flats. While fishing dock lights at night, the trolling motor will be used to control the boat
The shallow grass flats and gin clear water around Sarasota offer unique opportunities for serious anglers during the day. At night, fishing trips in the waters surrounding Sarasota are equally unique. Night trips offer a very personal experience. Most nights, there will not be many other anglers on the water with us and we’ll have the distinct sound of snook feeding on baitfish near the surface all to ourselves. You will be able to sight fish for multiple species throughout the night. Fishing the shores of Sarasota will provide you the opportunity to fish for Redfish, Tarpon, Snook, Tripletail, Spotted Seatrout, and many more exciting species.
Quiet Waters Fishing and Captain Brian are known for our professional, patient, and caring approach with anglers. Captain Brian appreciates sharing his home waters with his guests and looks forward to seeing you on the water!

Sight fishing in the dark? Absolutely! This is a very cool and action packed trip run after sunset. Submerged or overhead lights around docks and bridges attract gamefish; especially the coveted snook. They actively feed in the light, often times very aggressively. This is a fantastic trip for fly fishing anglers of ALL skill levels and to artificial lure enthusiasts. It’s quite the experience and one of my favorite trips to take anglers on.
Shallow Water Flats Trip (Flexible Start Time)
