Also while fishing the bottom, I catch a lot of Speckled Trout, Sheepshead Sand Trout, Spadefish, Atlantic Sharpnose Shark, Bonnet Head Shark as well as the occasional massive stingray or HUGE shark like Tiger Shark, Bull Shark, Hammerhead, Sandbar Sharks. While trolling it is typical to catch Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel and Blue Runner. The rig trip is a great trip for a beginner who wants to fish on the ocean but, just isn't quite ready to fight waves and spend a bunch of time traveling. For some, it also provides a sense of relief being so close to the shore where you can clearly see land. It is also always fun to see some of the massive Loggerhead Turtles and Dolphins that are always around in the warm, shallow near coast waters.
