Captain Steve Goins will be your guide as you search for big time fish on your fishing adventure. Capt. Steve is a Maryland native who has been fishing before he could even walk. He holds a US Coast Guard 10 Ton Master Captain’s License. The depth of experience he has developed over the years makes him perfect for passing knowledge along to everyone aboard on his trips.

You and Capt. Steve will set sail out of Deale, and may scour the waters around Town Point, Fairview, Long Point, Fair Haven, Holland Point, Rose Haven, Chesapeake Beach, and many other wonderful locations along Herring Bay and Chesapeake Bay.

Her Carolina flared bow cuts the water with authority - and, at 42 feet, there's plenty of room for everyone, even for larger parties. She is propelled by a set of 200hp Volvo diesel engines allowing her to cruise at a comfortable 20 knots. She has an Enclosed head and canopy with inside seats and heated cabin for comfort during foul weather. There is also a restroom on board for your convenience.

We offer half day morning, half day afternoon, and full day trip options. All of our trips include rods, reels, lures, bait, and a fishing license. We will gladly clean and fillet all of your catches at the end of each trip.

Approximately 350 different species of fish call the Chesapeake Bay their home - with some swimming into the Bay from the ocean to feed, and others making it their full-time home. Favorite (and tastiest) species among the fishing community include Striped Bass (locally known as "Rockfish" or "Striper"), Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Summer Flounder, Atlantic Croaker, Spot, and Perch.

We do several different kinds of fishing. We troll, jig, bottom fish, and live bait fish. The method we use is determined primarily by the fish and what’s best to catch them. When you book your trip, tell us if you prefer a certain method and we’ll tell you the best time of year to have the best shot at being able to catch fish your favorite way. In the end though, we just try to put fish in the boat any way we can.
