We offer trips from November through April fishing the shallow waters of Tampa Bay and offers unparalleled experience in both fly fishing and light spinning tackle trips.
Captain Ken Tutalo will be your guide as you search for that catch of a lifetime. Capt. Ken has been fishing the likes of Upper Delaware and Tampa Bay for more than 25 years. He has been a full-time fly-fishing guide for over two decades and has introduced fly fishing to countless anglers over the years.
Your flats fly-fishing journey will take place on the 17ft Ankona technical poling Skiff which has a capacity for 2 guests. This stunning flats boat is powered by a 60 HP Evinrude engine. The boat contains all the safety features including life jackets and first-aid equipment, a GPS, fishfinder, an anchoring system, and an icebox which will preserve the freshness of your catch until you return to the shore.
Our fishing trips are a very personalized adventure for one or two anglers. You will fish from a technical poling skiff which is designed to get you into the shallowest areas of the bay. All of Capt. Ken's trips are highly instructional. You will spend the entire day learning the tactics that fool gamefish on Flies and Artificial Lures.
Our main targets are Snook, Redfish and Speckled Trout, but Tarpon and Cobia can be encountered at times. In addition to the gamefish mentioned there are numerous other species that readily take the fly. These include Pompano, Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackerel, Lady Fish, Sheepshead, Snapper and more…

This is a Half Day Afternoon Flats and Back Country trip in the Tampa Bay estuary. Guest can choose to fish with fly fishing tackle or light spin tackle. We spend most of our time in the south bay which is a beautiful area that is teeming with Fish and Wildlife.
Capt. Ken has over 2 decades of full time guide experience and is a seasoned fly casting instructor. Our main Targets are Snook, Redfish and Spotted Sea Trout. Most days we also encounter other local game fish including hard fighting Jack Crevales, Ladyfish, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Snapper, Pompano and more. All of these fish readily take both flies and lures.
In addition to the great fishing our guest can expect to see lots of wildlife. Most days Dolphins, Manatees, Rays and Sharks are spotted along with an incredible array of shore birds.
All of our trips include fishing license. Top quality Fly and Spin tackle is available on all trips. Lures and flies are also included.
