Captain Mike and Valerie Ann Charters are located in the Chesapeake Bay in Deale, Maryland. The always smiling Capt. Mike was raised in Maryland and has over 10 years of fishing experience and knowledge of the Bay. His expertise on where to fish enables you and your guests will have your lines biting! Captain Mike skippers a 38’ Bay Boat. This vessel is powered by twin 310HP Caterpillar engines. His boat is outfitted with downriggers, outriggers, and a live well to keep your bait fresh. It’s also furnished with a restroom and bed. All of the latest fish finding technology such as a GPS, fish finder, and a radar are equipped as well. For your safety, USCG approved safety equipment is also outfitted on his boat. While on your fishing trip with Valerie Ann Charters, you and your guests will be supplied with all rods, reels, terminal tackle, lures, and the fishing license for everyone on board. Captain Mike is experienced in many different fishing techniques. They include, bottom fishing, drift fishing, jigging, light tackle, spinning, and trolling. With all of these fishing methods offered, you’re sure to be put on the fish! Valerie Ann Charters offer a six hour charter or an eight hour charter. They make it their mission to reel in Blue Fish, Red Drum, Atlantic Croaker, Rock Fish, Yellow Perch, and White Perch. For your convenience, there’s a fish cleaning station on the dock ensuring you won’t be leaving your fishing trip without the “fruits of your labor”. Book your trip with Valerie Ann charters! Full Day Trip
Captain Mike Garrett and first meet Kyle we’re outstanding! Very fun for my grandson and his friend to talk to, and learn about the bay and fishing. They were very patient with us, and worked extremely hard to make sure we caught our limit in rockfish for the day, despite slow conditions in otherwise excellent weather. I recommend the Valerie Ann Enthusiastically, and without reservation. I’ll be back, and bring others! Thank you, gentlemen, for a terrific day!

It was a great day on the boat with Capt. Mike. We trolled for stripers. He was very great to work with and made it a great day for my father and 7 year old son. He did the best to put us on the fish. We took 3 home and threw the rest back, under strict order not to bring so much fish home cause freezer was full.

Enjoyed the expert navigation of Captain Mike in some choppy waters to a quieter area with stripped bass that were biting. First Mate Jimmy worked the lines so we could pull in our limit of keepers. Very professional team that gave us the experience we were looking for!
